Fun things to fill your day

There's so much to see and do in the capital so to get you started, we've pulled together a few of our favourite things to do.

Fuel your day with strong coffee at one of Wellington's many top-notch brunch spots. Wander along the waterfront before popping in to see the national art collection at Te Papa. Tempt your tastebuds in Hannah's Laneway, a trail of boutique food factories, or at one of Wellington's tasty markets. Discover more of Wellington's creative magic at the Weta Cave, or feast your eyes at one of our many galleries

Other ways to be WOWed in Wellington

Join WOW® as they pay tribute to the late Wellington designer, Claire Prebble. Seven of her garments will be exhibited at TSB Bank Arena, and her final piece, The Warrioress of Light, will be displayed in David Jones' window.

Be sure to pop into Page Blackie Gallery too. From 13 Sep - 7 Oct, they'll be showing a solo exhibition from Reuben Paterson, WOW®'s source of creative inspiration for this year's show.
