Held across multiple vineyards in the boutique wine village of Martinborough, just an hour north of Wellington, Toast combines incredible wines, food and music in the vines, for the ultimate day out.

Back in 1992 when Toast began, the newest tipple was Nouveau Rouge and Shortland Street first appeared on TV. The Bodyguard album was number one of the charts, and asparagus rolls and seafood vol-au-vents were on the menu at the first Toast Martinborough event. 25 years on and Toast Martinborough is still going strong. Come along and be part of the 25th celebrations!

Tips for the festival

Your ticket provides you with:

  • entry to the participating wineries
  • a tasting glass
  • a festival programme
  • access to free shuttle buses between each site
  • live music and entertainment act

To purchase wine and food during the day, you'll need to purchase festival francs ($1 = 1 festival franc). This year, Toast are introducing a cashless wristband payment system which you can load up with festival francs.

The festival runs from 9am - 6:30pm, and wine sales are available from 10am - 4:30pm.
