  • By entering the WOW® Window Dressing Competition 2016, you accept the terms and conditions set out below (Terms).
  • The Promoter of this competition is Wellington Regional Economic Development Agency (WREDA) (Level 28, Plimmer Tower, 2-6 Gilmer Terrace, PO Box 10 017, Wellington, New Zealand).
  • To be a participating retailer in the competition, the retailer must complete all mandatory fields of the online registration form.
  • The Promoter has the right to deny entry to any retailer who has not completed the form correctly, and honestly.
  • All registrations must be received no later than 11.59pm, Sunday 10 July 2016.
  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected registrations.
  • Your store must be located within Wellington City or Wellington Airport to take part. Please note that you may enter the competition if not within the Wellington CBD, however only stores within the Wellington CBD will be added to the "WOW Retail Map" due to size constrictions.
  • The competition period is 12am, Thursday 22 September to 11.59pm, Sunday 9 October 2016, and your window display and window decal must be installed for the duration of this time, inclusively.
  • Anyone may dress your window for this competition. This can include (and is not limited to); staff, school groups, professional window dressers, family, friends or volunteers. NB: It is the store that wins, not the individual registering. All prizes (if won) are won by the store/store management, not the individual who has dressed the window. In case of dispute over a prize claim, it is the responsibility of the store owner to prove, at their sole cost, such ownership.
  • There are four prizes to be won:
    • People’s Choice Award: Awarded to the retail store that receives the most consumer votes from 12am Thursday 22 September to 11.59pm, Sunday 9 October 2016.
      • Prize: A $500 spend by the winning consumer voter, AND A $500 voucher for a Wellington restaurant or bar of your choice
      • Judging: Windows will be voted for via WellingtonNZ.com by consumers. The store that receives the most votes will win. Please note that stores may not vote for themselves, as this is a consumer-based competition. Any voting that is deemed suspicious will be disqualified at the final count. Votes will be collated by WREDA at Level 28, Plimmer Towers, 2-6 Gilmer Terrace, Wellington by 12pm Tuesday 11 October 2016, and the winner notified by email shortly after.
    • Spot prizes: Two participating stores will be randomly selected to win one of two spot prizes.
