Visit 26 hectares of plants from all corners of the world, native bush and lawn areas. Ride the Cable Car to the top of the garden and walk downtown to the Beehive and Parliament Buildings.

Features of the garden include: The Treehouse Visitor Centre, the Lady Norwood Rose Garden, the tropical and temperate Begonia House and gift shop, a cafe, the historic Bolton Street Memorial Park with chapel and displays, the Herb Garden, the Sculpture Walk, the duck pond, the children's play area, the Threatened Species Garden, the historic Ma-ori Flax Collection and the Australian Garden.

You will also find the Cable Car Museum and Space Place at Carter Observatory within the Botanic Garden.
