We have circus classes for Preschool 3-4yrs, Juniors 5-7 years and Kids 8-12 years. Circus training encourages the development of motor skills, coordination, balance, spacial awareness, musicality, and performance. Classes are fun and imaginative, introducing kids to circus apparatus as well as the basics of acrobatics, theatre and movement. Junior classes run as term blocks. Trial classes are available. Refer to our web page for specific classtimes and details – www.circus.org.nz Wellington Circus Trust was formed as a charitable Trust in December 2005. At that time there were a number of talented and enthusiastic circus professionals and amateurs who were creating wonderful performances, training and engaging in teaching and learning but finding the facilities and infrastructure was always a challenge. The Trust was formed in order to be able to set up the infrastructure needed for artists to train and share circus with the Wellington public.
