The National Jewellery Showcase is a unique public exhibition, and nearly all of the work is for sale. This is your chance to view and purchase work by New Zealand’s jewellery designers. It’s also a chance to meet the designers themselves and hear first hand the stories behind the work.
The three-day exhibition comprises fine jewellery and contemporary jewellery. Entries by finalists in the AGR Matthey Jewellery Design Awards will also be on display and for sale.
In 2007, a special exhibition of contemporary work was presented in association with TheNewDowse. This concept of an 'exhibition within the exhibition' will return in 2008 under the curator Renée Bevan.
