Carter Observatory
The sky's the limit for Carter Observatory who has been named a finalist in this year's Wellington Gold Awards.
It joins other Wellington events and visitor facilities including the Tora Coastal Walk, Toast Martinborough, Adrenalin Forest and the NZ Affordable Art Trust in the Vibrant category.
“This is recognition that the Carter team has worked hard for and contributed to through fantastic teamwork across the last two and a bit years," says Director Sarah Rusholme.
"This will really help cement Carter Observatory as a significant Wellington attraction. We’re proud to be a vibrant participant of this wonderful city.”
The Wellington Gold Awards, held in association with the Dominion Post, have been running since 1999. This year Wairarapa companies and organizations have been able to enter the awards and three of them have been named as finalists.
Carter Observatory joins 37 other entrants shortlisted across nine categories covering a
wide range of creative and high tech industries.
Winners will be announced at the Wellington Gold Awards dinner at the TSB Arena on
May 31.
