'Starring' in famous Kiwi film Boy is one of many interactive activities you can do in Wellington during RWC 2011.
Scoring the winning try for the All Blacks, starring in a famous Kiwi movie and busting out your best haka are some of the interactive offerings in Wellington for Rugby World Cup 2011 visitors and locals.
We reckon a picture speaks 1000 words and a video is about 2000, so rather than describe what you can do, the Positively Wellington Tourism team has kindly offered up their shame to show you. You can thank us by going and giving it a crack yourself.
Give it a Try at Capital E
What better way to introduce our new Digital Marketing Coodinator Hannah Nielsen to the world, than through her game winning try for the All Blacks at Wellington Regional Stadium. Check out her sweet moves.
Ka Mate at Te Papa
Ngati Toa Rangatira’s Ka Mate – The Exhibition uses cutting-edge camera technology to teach visitors the actions of the haka. Virtual Ngati Toa Rangatira haka instructors teach you the actions before you record your performance. Book in with your team of six family or friends, or join visitors from around the world. Ka pai to this performance by various members of our marketing team.
NZ On Screen Scene Stealer on Te Papa Promenade
The New Zealand On Screen waterfront installation celebrates screen icons that embody Kiwi spirit and stories. Visitors can have their image inserted into their choice of classic NZ film and television scenes in the photo booth, as modelled by Communications Manager Angela Moriarty.
Now it’s your turn…
:: Te Papa, Capital E and NZ On Screen are all within minutes’ walk of each other around the Official Wellington FanZone at Odlins Plaza next to the Wharewaka on the waterfront. Details on all and more Festival of Carnivale events at WellingtonNZ2011.com.
