Come and catch the stars at Carter.
Let Carter Observatory’s experienced astronomy educators inspire your students about the wonders of our unique southern skies. Carter Observatory relaunched in March 2010 with a brand new astronomy education experience.
A 2-minute walk from the top of the Cable Car, Carter Observatory offers innovative, curriculum linked programmes that will excite and motivate your students and help them learn about our place in space. Carter’s LEOTC supported programmes include a 45-minute presentation in its state of the art, digital planetarium, time to explore the interactive multimedia exhibition, and a choice of workshops targeted to your specific learning objectives. Pre and post- visit activities and resources are also provided to complement your trip.
