Lifelong learning at Wellington Zoo.
As New Zealand’s first zoo, Wellington Zoo continues to be a destination enjoyed by New Zealanders of all ages. Starting with the 500 animals in their care, Zoo staff are committed to their role in conservation education – bringing more than 100 different species and people closer together.
The Zoo’s unique ‘living classroom’ offers interactive and multi-sensory learning experiences for students ranging from pre-school to tertiary. Zoo education staff will tailor a range of comprehensive programmes to your achievement objectives and specific learning outcomes.
