Capital Retail

As well as a number of prominent Wellington retailers the following organisations are members of the forum: Wellington City Council, New Zealand Retailers Association, Wellington Employers’ Chamber of Commerce and Positively Wellington Tourism.

The Charter

The forum has created the Capital Retail Charter. The charter is based around three principles:

Being great hosts
Being proud ambassadors for Wellington
Being vital community members

Capital Retail E-Bulletin

The Capital Retail e-Bulletin has been created especially for Wellington retailers to keep them up-to-date with Wellington retail information and how they can get involved with and make the most of Wellington’s major annual tourist events (e.g. Brancott Estate WOW, Visa Wellington On a Plate) and one-off events (e.g. Rugby World Cup 2011).
