Manky Chops is the brainchild of Xoe Hall and Dave Smith, who compliment each other with a mutual vision of operating and developing a gallery space that will actively cultivate "the artists way." It welcomes the artists' own vision in exhibiting; promoting artists as curators and encouraging artistic self-determination by literally asking artists to value their own work.

Manky Chops is also actively fostering a collaborative approach to its own evolution and is already a magnet for a matrix of progressive artistic perspectives and personas, offering an easy hospitality that is unique to this gallery space and providing a studio space for artists to work in.

Those artists who are contributing works for the gallery include Morse and Frizell, Mephisto Jones, Misery, Xoe Hall, Slope, Sole, Katie Payne, Zahra Archer, Brydie Hall, Jenna Tools, Boltorius, Derek Sonic Thunders and Kelly Thompson.
