Pop Up Gallery specialises in the world of pop surrealism, subversive lowbrow art, street design, pop and counter culture.

Sick of only reading about cool stuff in magazines and not being able to get your mitts on it? So were the owners of Pop Up. Born in March '06, Pop Up fills the gap between high end art...and the not so high end. The gallery features artists such as Kozyndan, Joe Sorren, Nathan Jurevicius (Scarygirl), James Jean, Mark Bryan, Scott Musgrove and Seymour and toy labels KidRobot, StrangeCo and FlyingCat.

Pop Up is the only place in Wellington, if not New Zealand, where you can take your pick from a myriad of designer toys and limited edition prints from internationally acclaimed artists, as well up and coming local artists.

You'll also find artist t-shirts, urban toys, bags, and books. All of these goodies share a common theme – they're limited editions and very collectible.
