With its reputation for fine food, cocktails and excellent live music, it’s no wonder this Wellington institution was popular with The Lord of the Rings cast during their time living here.
Quite probably New Zealand’s most awarded bar and restaurant, Matterhorn counts a Cuisine Supreme Restaurant of the Year award (pretty much the Kiwi culinary equivalent of an Oscar) in its long list of gongs.
