One of New Zealand's finest Edwardian Lyric Theatres, this fully restored heritage building is the Wellington venue for opera, dance and major musical shows, and home to the Royal New Zealand Ballet.
The art deco foyer houses the Jimmy Café and Bar. It serves brunches, light meals and coffee - a great place to meet for pre-show dining. There are several function / meeting rooms available for hire and the venue has been the scene of balls, product launches and conferences. Catering is available. Group guided tours available by appointment. The theatre is also a Ticketek Box Office taking reservations for all Ticketek shows.
