49cc mopeds can be hired by anyone with a just a car licence whether it is a New Zealand or overseas licence. They are automatic and are just “twist and go” so they are very easy to ride. 80% of hirers have never ridden mopeds before and are very capable riders after just 10 minutes of (free) tuition before they set out.

Just $75 per day including insurance. Amazing value, Discounts for hiring two or more mopeds at once or when hiring for several days. By the hour is $25 with a minimum of 2 hours.

If you wish you can just sit on the back of a scooter and have a tour guide drive you. This is $40 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours.
