Walk Wellington
Walk Wellington - guided walks in Wellington city. The best way to discover the heart and soul of Wellington, New Zealand's capital city, is on foot. Walk Wellington makes this very easy by giving you a personal introduction to the city. We will reveal stories about Wellington's past, present, people and places - things you won't always find in the guide books.
We offer three different services:
- Essential Wellington walks - $20 adult, $10 child. Book at the Wellington Visitor Information Centre or phone 802 4860, at least an hour before departure.
Tours leave:
10am Daily;
5.30pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (November-March).
- Personalised & Group walks - what you want to see & when you want to see it. Book at least a week ahead contacts below. Minimum charge applies.
- Specialty walks - Arts, Art Galleries, Bars off the beaten track, Heritage, Nature, Shopping. Book at least a week ahead contacts below. Minimum charge applies.
Most walks are quite easy but the nature walks require reasonable fitness. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
