Tickets to the country's biggest sporting event of the year go on sale this Friday at 9am.
Notorious for selling out in minutes, tickets to Sevens Wellington are expected to once again be hot property for 2014.
Round five of the HSBC Sevens World Series is being held on February 7 and 8 at Westpac Stadium, and tournament general manager Steve Walters said it was shaping up to be another weekend full of fun, and world-class sporting action.
"With Waitangi day falling on the Thursday, it will be a great chance for you to get away for an extra-long weekend and soak up that sevens atmosphere.''
This will be the 15th year Wellington has played host to the two-day international tournament, attended by 16 of the world's top sevens rugby teams.
Organisers advise you register with Ticketek before Friday, September 27, to give yourself the best chance of purchasing tickets.
Tickets will be available at 9am on Friday at www.ticketek.co.nz, or by calling 0800 TICKETEK, or (04) 384 3840 from a mobile.
NB: Ticket prices do not include any applicable service charge or credit card charges.
