The Partnerships & Events team supports some of Wellington's most popular events, from the NZ Festival to World of WearableArt™ Awards Show. Warrick also works across the development of partnerships across all of our stakeholders. The Business Events Wellington team work with a membership-based group of operators and venues to promote Wellington as the best spot for your conference, meeting or incentive destination. Major Events

WREDA’s major events team promotes, funds and supports major events in Wellington, such as New Zealand Festival, World of WearableArt™ Awards Show, Homegrown and the DHL New Zealand Lions Series 2017. The team work across funding support, marketing and promotion, logistical and venue support, feasibility studies and event bids, planning, management and risk management, coordination and facilitation of major events. Performance Event Attraction

Wellington is known as the cultural capital of New Zealand, and the Performance Event Attraction team are responsible for sourcing, contracting, ticketing and delivering live performances and exhibitions. Their focus is on developing a strong calendar of events, and working with hirers to drive local and out of town audience development. To find out more, email Helen
