How to keep and find good people is a series that stems from WellingtonNZ’s desire to help and support organisations and employers in the Wellington region lure and retain skilled workers. 

The skills shortage has affected employers across all sectors for some time now, the pandemic and closed borders halting the stream of skilled migrants. 

Through a series of five short videos, a handful of Wellington businesses share tips and suggestions on how to find, employ and retain skilled people. 

With help from employee experience and HR consulting firm Humankind and recruitment agency Kin, learn from local business practitioners as they cover flexible working, team culture and motivation, interviewing, attracting and onboarding candidates and how to write a great job.

Managing a flexible team

Flexible working continues to have a significant impact on workplaces. In this video, Eva Knotkova and Ian White of specialist IT security consultancy ZX Security talk to Humankind's Kalyn Ponti about why their workplace has adopted a flexible working environment while also maintaining performance and culture.
