There are accessible toilets located on level 16 (Conference floor) and the lobby level
There is direct access to the hotel from the carpark, with no stairs or ramps
The James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor will commence work replacing all seven elevators from the beginning of July 2017 through to mid-2018.
The schedule has allowed at least one working elevator for each hotel wing throughout the duration of the upgrade. All floors will still be accessible by guests however please note that some delays may be expected during peak times.
