Set in the wine village of Martinborough, Medici café creates delectable food with seasonal ingredients freshly sourced in the Wairarapa. Fresh and honest food with a twist of imagination, accompanies delicious Mojo coffee.
Medici is open seven days for breakfast and lunch, and for dinner from Thursday to Saturday during summer.
Head-chef/owner Nick Arnold is intensely passionate about food. Wherever possible, Nick uses the kind of local Wairarapa produce that has become reknowned throughout New Zealand as some of the best in the land. Nick's focus is on producing fine food that is "delicious, fresh and innovative".
On the cafe menu, you'll find a broad number of options - from a tasty club sandwich of very generous proportions, right through to the 5-spice crispy pork belly. The cabinet also offers tasty treats, and you'll find daily specials on Medici's varied blackboard menu.
The sheltered, sunny courtyard provides a relaxed setting if you're keen to enjoy some beautiful Wairarapa sunshine.
Medici's Dinner menu provides fine dining within an intimate, relaxed atmosphere.
Private catering for weddings and events is also a service on offer from the skilled Medici kitchen.
