A review in Dominion Post some considerable time ago now said Little Peckish Cafe serves "...decent food fast..." at customer friendly rates.

We are nestled away in the Dukes Arcade, on the corner of Willis and Manners Streets. Many people wander past and never venture through and when some of them eventually do find us they go "Wow, what a lovely cafe! We never knew you existed."

We have a strong loyal customer base who know their food and coffee. They keep coming back.

The owner Chef is Margaret. Margaret learned her craft from well known Wellington Chef Mark Limacher and supplemented this learning with a four month foodie tour of Italy, France, Switzerland and Belgium. Her food is authentic home cooked with a strong European influence. She hand makes her own pastas and all the baked goods are baked on site. Her baking is older style "nostalgic" baking. And the cafe features "Southland Cheese Rolls" in its cabinet. Scones and muffins are fresh daily, baked at 5am each morning.

We are serious about coffee at Little Peckish Cafe. We serve "five star blend" Havana coffee, rich and strong with a chocolate brownie aftertaste. Scott our barista has been making coffee for 12 years so we reckon he knows what he is doing.

We try our best to be attentive and friendly, attending to your needs. Our extensive Breakfast and Lunch menu caters for most tastes.

So, if you are a 'little peckish' we look forward to welcoming you to our place!

See you at Little Peckish Cafe
