In the eclectic front bar or cosy dining area, moodily lit with dripping candles, Mexico can accommodate a celebration with friends, or a quick mid-week catch-up. Whatever the occasion, the experience is complemented by smiling staff and the hum of happy diners.
The food here takes a light and fresh approach to Mexican fare. The flavors are big, spicy and complex. The drinks keep the vibe loud and lively, with jugs of sangria and margaritas, top shelf Tequila and a long list of Mexican beers. And it’s all served at prices that will leave diners plenty of change to carry on their night, or come back for more later in the week.
Mexico has just introduced a new menu. New dishes like the free farmed Al Pastor Crispy pork with kimchi, apple yoghurt, radish, mint, sesame and the free range Plancha BBQ apple mole chicken with charred pineapple and sesame are brand new to the Mexico kitchen. Executive Chef Peter Jackson has created new snacks, salads, tacos and desserts including the beautiful Beetroot & sweet potato dip with smoky chorizo crumb, queso blanco and a tortilla that's made with cricket powder, which is a new and exciting sustainable (and delicious) source of protein.
