Hot sun in the city

When the sun is shining bright, here are our favourite spots to head for brunch, lunch, dinner or anything in between:

  • Soak up the sun in Pickle & Pie's courtyard in Lombard Laneway
  • Go for brunch and sit out in Fidels sun-drenched courtyard
  • There's nothing like lunch in the sun at Nikau Café - glass of rosé optional, but highly recommended
  • One for those in the know: The Salty Pidgin in Brooklyn has a lovely outdoor garden, perfect for those summer lunches or early evening bites
  • Go for brunch or lunch at Prefab and sit out on their dog-friendly deck
  • The Botanist in Lyall Bay has a beaut garden bar - go for brunch on a sunny morning or make the most of those long summer evenings with dinner and drinks
