A mix of the old and new, the lived-in and the luxurious.
This plush addition to Chews Lane is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and hosts individual bars, each serving an impressive array of house-cured charcuterie, cheese, gin, whisky, local craft beer (16 taps) and local and international wines.
Drop in for lunch and grab a sandwich from the slow-roasted carvery, or settle in for a bit longer and tell long stories over small and big plates. The Hudson also looks after vegans and vegetarians with dishes that will even hook the carnivores in.
The ground floor's worn-in interior shows off the original building’s bones (built in 1927, the same date as NYC Hudson/Holland tunnel was opened) and makes a highlight of the bar - an island of marble and wood, craft beer cured meat and cheese. It's the architectural version of a blazer, T shirt and old jeans. It’s about relaxed luxury.
