Finale: Bouquet captures a moment of jubilation, with confetti caught mid-fall in a celebration that never ends. Like a three-dimensional painting, thousands of fluttering, colourful strands fill the gallery.

The six-colour palette was inspired by multiple sources, including botanical prints of native New Zealand flora by Sarah Featon (1848–1927) which Te Papa holds in its collection. The installation, precisely arranged, invites you to imagine you are immersed in a bouquet of colour and movement. For artist Nike Savvas, your participation completes the artwork.

This site-specific artwork is made up of over 210,000 tabs which are fully recyclable. The work has been purchased by Te Papa and will remain in the museum’s collection permanently.

Entry is free.
