The Wellington City Pass gives you a return trip on the Wellington Cable Car and general admission to your choice of two of the following attractions – Zealandia, Space Place at Carter Observatory or Wellington Zoo. Full terms and conditions of the pass can be found here.
A return trip on the Wellington Cable Car for the purpose of this pass is two one way trips. You will need to give one ticket for each one way trip.
The pass costs $37.50 per adult, and $15 for children aged 5 – 16. Each pass is for either one adult or one child (5 -16). Passes are not available for under 5’s.
A valid Wellington City Pass also gives you discounts to the following attractions/venues during your pass’ three day validity.
Wellington City Passes can be purchased at the Wellington i-SITE Visitor Information Centre, Zealandia, Space Place at Carter Observatory and Wellington Zoo.
Your pass needs to be activated before you can use it; the seller of the pass will do this by dating the pass from the first day of anticipated use.
Once you’ve bought your pass, simply present it at each of the participating attractions that you’ve chosen to gain entry to; the attraction will remove and keep the applicable voucher.
To receive any of the discount offers simply show your pass to the applicable attraction within the vailid period of your pass.
Each ticket must still be connected to the pass at time of redemption.
The ticket is valid for seven days starting from (and inclusive of) the date stated on the pass when purchased. It is not transferable for cash or to another person.
The discount offers are also only valid for the same seven days.
Lost or stolen tickets will not be replaced.
There are no exchanges or refunds on the pass price except as required by law.
