One of the most significant sporting events since Rugby World Cup 2011, the nationwide DHL New Zealand Lions Series 2017 will feature two matches at Wellington's Regional Stadium:
We all remember how the 2005 Series captivated New Zealand, and the 2017 Series won't be any different. Make sure you're there to see the best players from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales face off against the All Blacks, the Maori All Blacks and the New Zealand Super Rugby franchises!
- Fan Zone
Whether you’re a local or a visitor, the Fan Zone is the place to be if you want to get a slice of the action, with pop-up activities and events throughout the week. On Test Days (Tuesday 27 June and Saturday 1 July), entertainment will kick off at 12pm, with children’s activities, sponsors’ activations, and music. Food trucks will also be on-site to keep you fuelled. Afterwards, get ready to cheer on your side with live broadcasts of the local matches on the big screen.
- Fan Trail
For the ultimate pre-game experience, follow Wellington’s unique Fan Trail. Running on both match days, the Fan Trail will start at the Fan Zone in Odlins Plaza and will lead fans directly to Wellington Regional Stadium. Along the trail, soak up the pre-match atmosphere with other fans as you enjoy cultural performances, innovative light sequences and interactive displays. The Fan Trail will still be in full swing after the match, so make the most of it on your way back into the city.
