Kids got energy to burn? Head along to one of Wellington's awesome playgrounds and let them have a good ole run around.

If you're around the city, Frank Kitts Park on the waterfront with its lighthouse slide is always a winner. Or head to the Wellington Botanic Garden where you'll find plenty of big and exciting slides, ride-ons, climbers, and a flying fox providing hours of fun for the young-uns.

Enjoy a brisk stroll through Brooklyn's Central Park which has a pretty neat flying fox and playground to keep the kids busy, or if you're feeling extra energetic, tackle the climb up Mount Victoria.

Te Papa
