What makes it a Greatest Hit | Two Grey has been long known for its brunch offering and wanted to take this to the next level! Taking inspiration from the High Tea of InterContinental Wellington, the High Brunch brings together all of the favourites of old and new alike into one larger than life brunch experience.
Hot Sauce’s Popcorn Chicken
From the menu | Hot Sauce's infamous ‘Popcorn Chicken,’ that's both dairy and gluten-free, has salted pineapple and their in-house smoked Maple glazed chicken served with Sriracha mayo.
What makes this dish a Greatest Hit | This dish was created as a small plate for Hot Sauce's opening in 2017 - the idea was a uniquely flavoured dish that encapsulated the theme of Hot Sauce's Asian influenced fare that would complement other small dishes and the extensive beverage list on offer. Due to its popularity, and guests always ordering multiple dishes, we then recreated it as a main or sharing dish and have never looked back!
Tatsushi’s Blue Fin Tuna Nigiri Sushi Tasting Board
From the menu | Three different variations of New Zealand caught Tuna served raw on top of rice. This includes red meat, the middle and belly.
What makes this dish a Greatest Hit | This seasonal dish is on the menu for everyone to enjoy the beauty of fresh raw fish. This dish presents the many flavours of fresh tuna by tasting three variations of the Blue Fin; red meat, the middle meat and belly. A must for all sushi-lovers.
Oven Steamed Hāngi at Karaka Café
From the menu | Our cafe version of traditional hāngi with house-smoked chicken, pork, potato, pumpkin, kumara, stuffing, steamed and served with fry bread.
What makes this dish a Greatest Hit | Our hāngi style foods are our signature designed dish. The oven steamed Hāngi has been a staple menu item since opening in 2011, with a variety of versions made by our chefs over the years.
Goat Cheese Salad at Tartine’s French Café
From the menu | Warm goat cheese toasts, oak leaf lettuce, tomato, walnut & bacon dressing.
What makes this dish a Greatest Hit | This salad was created by our French Head chef, using French ingredients. the goat cheese comes directly from France, as well as the bread for the toast. The walnut and bacon dressing is a classic dressing that originated from the countryside of France. We add a little bit of Aotearoa with a drizzle of 100% New Zealand honey.
