‘Sweet As’ Hutt’s Hot Chocolate Challenge™ runs in July each year, encompassing the winter school break.

Now in its sixth year the challenge has grown in both the quantity of CBD hospitality operators involved, the uniqueness of the drink offerings and the numbers of dedicated followers of this challenge. Being accessible to most, the hot chocolate challenge also has become a team-building opportunity for many corporates located in the City Centre. Within five years this winter activity has become a tradition for Lower Hutt and has a regional draw.
