Mako Road, the four piece indie rock band, is touring the country in celebration of their upcoming album, and will hit up Shed 6 on 2 April 2022. 

Don’t Keep Me Waiting is the highly anticipated debut album from the group, and showcases their innate musicality and feel good sound. The 2022 show will share the new tracks as well as songs already known and loved, that have won over crowds throughout New Zealand and abroad. 

Described as having ‘hazy summer psych grooves’, the band has spent many months touring, with sold out Australasian tours and many festivals under their belt, including Splendour In The Grass, Bay Dreams, and Rhythm and Vines. Made up of Rhian Ward, Connor Jaine, Connor McErlich and Robbie Day, the group has also opened for the likes of Rudimental, L.A.B, Shapeshifter and Leisure. 

With their shows, EP and singles releases, Mako Road has already built a strong and growing fanbase. In fact, their songs have racked up 60 million streams and been certified Gold and Platinum multiple times.
