Reb Fountain IRIS Tour

Award-winning singer-songwriter announces Kiwi tour to promote the bold new album, IRIS

In the past year, singer-songwriter Reb Fountain has hit her stride in New Zealand’s music scene, and with her upcoming tour to promote her new album IRIS, she shows no signs of slowing down.

The latest tour, which will see the musician coming to The Opera House, follows a series of wins. Fountain and her band, including Dave Khan, Earl Robertson and Karin Canzek, have toured with Crowded House, won the 2021 Taite Music Prize, shared their music on the Splore stage, and performed at the Flying Nun 40th Anniversary gala.

The IRIS tour is your chance to see the rising star in her element and hear her distinctive sound live. She’s set to share a raft of new music along with tracks from her previously released self-titled album.

Shared with fans in May 2020 via Flying Nun Records, Fountain’s most recent album received significant critical acclaim. Along with winning the 2021 Taite Prize, the album’s song Don’t You Know Who I Am was shortlisted for a Silver Scroll Award, while the album was nominated for five NZ Music Awards.

IRIS is said to combine pop elements with Fountain’s recognisable noir folk-punk sound, with new authentic and anthemic tunes that are bound to leave an impression.
