The Guilty Feminist Live is heading back to New Zealand in 2022 after sold-out shows around the world, sharing the unique brand of humour and relatable insights that have made the podcast of the same name so popular.
Host Deborah Frances-White and Sofie Hagen started the podcast back in 2015 when the pair called out the double standards, hypocrisies and lofty principles at play in the world of 21st-century feminism. While Sofie left the show in September 2016, Guilty Feminist continued, supported by an array of guest co-hosts.
Since then the podcast and live shows have covered every topic under the sun relating to all things feminism and life in our modern world. Topics have covered stereotypes, hair removal, periods, not having children, cosmetics and many more. Special guests have included Hannah Gadsby, Emma Thompson, Rose Matafeo, Shappi Khorsandi, Gemma Arterton, Dawn O’Porter and Aisling Bea.
With more than 70 million downloads and a number of award nominations and wins, the podcast continues to be well-loved. The live show brings the same level of candour, humour, insight and camaraderie as the podcast, with a few surprises along the way.
