Royal Wellington Golf Club

The Royal Wellington Golf Club is known as one of the most spectacular golf courses in New Zealand, with its newly-designed Turner MacPherson championship course. Often referred to as 'the home of New Zealand golf', this club has 27 holes that offer three different 18-hole layouts. It has hosted seven New Zealand Open Championships since 1912 and in 2004 it became the first golf club in the country to receive royal status. In October 2017, the Royal Wellington Golf Club hosted the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship.

Karori Golf Club

Karori Golf Club is located just a short drive from Wellington city, along the scenic road to rugged Makara Beach. Set in idyllic native bush, Karori Golf Club is exceptionally quiet – the only sounds you hear are birds and farm animals. It’s an excellent all-season course that is seldom closed due to weather and most of the holes are sheltered from the wind. The course is open seven days a week to players of all standards, as well as casuals and juniors.
