Set in the historical Bank of New Zealand building, Old Bank Arcade brings together the latest in fashion in a unique shopping experience.

Housed inside one of Wellington’s most distinguished heritage buildings built in 1901 for the head office of the Bank of New Zealand on a prime site where Lambton Quay, Willis Street and Customhouse Quay meet. Designed by prominent architect Thomas Turnbull, the building was considered the best example of classical architecture of his esteemed career.

In the 1990s, after the building had fallen into disuse, a renovation project was undertaken to restore the building's Edwardian Baroque grandeur and adapt it to its new life as a premium, fully-indoors shopping destination.
