Pakuratahi Forest Felling on Remutaka Cycle Trail

A section of Pakuratahi Forest between Maymorn gate and Tunnel Gully will be harvested this winter. The works will start from 25th June 2018 and continue for approximately six months.

This will affect the Remutaka Cycle Trail. Please see the map for the diversion that has been put in place:

  • Northbound: from Te Marua dairy ride up Plateau Road to Tunnel Gully, through the recreation area and up onto Station Drive.
  • Southbound: from Station Drive turn right and ride out through Tunnel Gully Recreation area, Plateau Road to Te Marua dairy

Be aware of the changes, plan your trip, and take extra care in the local area.
