Queen Elizabeth park is 650 acres, made up of grassland, tussock bush, wetland area, historic pā sites, coastal and an inland walkway.
Located on the Kāpiti Coast, north of Wellington city, Queen Elizabeth Park is a Regional Park containing the last natural dunes in this area.
The 650 acre park is made up of rolling grassland and tussock bush, with both a coastal and an inland walkway leading through to a wetland area and bush remnant with mature kahikatea.
The park is also steeped in history including pā sites at Whareroa Beach.
