The Wellington International Student Excellence Awards recognise the achievements and contributions of international students in the Wellington region – whether academically, the arts, in sports, or community, and celebrate the benefits of international education to the broader community.
Twelve excellence awards will be presented at an awards ceremony on October 20 2017.
A new alumni category in this year’s awards will recognise the achievements of former Wellington international students who have since excelled in their chosen profession or promotion of New Zealand.
Application opening date: Monday 14 August 2017
Application closing date: Extended to Monday 11 September 2017
Prizes: Each winner will be awarded a trophy, a certificate and tickets to a Wellington experience.
Up to two winners will be selected from each of the following six categories. Submit ONE application only, and select the category which best suits your major achievements. You will have an opportunity on the application form to provide information about achievements in other categories.
