International students and graduates help organisations bring more diversity into their workforce, introducing greater cultural and language diversity, and global perspectives. As employers prefer to hire people with work experience, WREDA’s Workplace Internship is a great opportunity for an international student to get some work experience in a Wellington workplace over the term breaks.
You will be based in the Education Team at WREDA. Where possible, we will provide a tailored work programme for you that takes into account your interests, skills, and knowledge, and gives you the chance to work with different teams on several projects.
Check out our case studies here to see how the WREDA Workplace Internship has helped other international students into their careers.
