One of Wellington's most important visitor markets can now explore the translated website, making the city more ready than ever to make the most of China opportunities.
Wellington can now be extra confident in the China market with a fully translated Chinese version of WellingtonNZ.com.
The translated website aims to help ensure more of the almost 240,000 Chinese, who arrive in New Zealand each year, visit the capital during their stay.
Translation of key content will help potential Chinese visitors decide that Wellington is a must-visit destination as well as make holiday planning a whole lot easier. It will also contribute to increasing the tourism trade activity in the capital.
The website development follows on from the Chinese language visitor guide launched in May, and will help support social media marketing efforts, as well as work on-the-ground in China by both Positively Wellington Tourism and Grow Wellington.
For more information, read the media release on the translated website.
