From the late 60s to the mid-80s Bill Withers dominated the soulful rhythm and blues sound. His laid-back style and skill as a singer, guitarist, and keyboard player was much-loved by audiences. Many Kiwi musicians today cite Bill as an influence on their own writing. A group of them have banded together to pay tribute to him. Bill Withers Social Club is made up of vocalists Troy Kingi, Dallas Tamaira, Rio Hemopo, and LA Mitchell. Along with a top-quality band, they will honour the soul legend.
