In early 2003, Calexico released their seminal album ‘Feast of Wire’, an album that marked the duo’s critical and commercial breakthrough. The tour will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the album with the band playing the record in its entirety, as well as some other fan favourites to finish off the show.

Calexico is a band that has been exploring the musical borderlands of the American Southwest for over three decades. Founded in Tucson, Arizona, by guitarist/singer Joey Burns and drummer John Convertino they have released a string of records that blur the lines between genres.

The band have been one of the bastions of American indie rock, working with everyone from Arcade Fire to My Morning Jacket and making an entire EP with the Miami-based folk band Iron And Wine. They will bring their intimate show to the Opera House in 2024.

“You see, Calexico are amazing live. Not only is their material extraordinarily good, but this is a band who clearly just dig playing…”
