Deacon Blue

Scottish pop rock band Deacon Blue are bringing their greatest hits tour to Wellington. It’s their first time in New Zealand since their highly successful shows in 2019.

It’s been thirty-five years since their debut single, ‘Dignity’. Millions of record sales later, they are digging out all the Top 10s, old 45s, and favourite sing-along rarities for their tour.

The band has always thrived onstage, but they are presenting something different for fans this time. They’ll go electric for a raucous trip across their hits and then play some of their favourites in an intimate acoustic section.

Vocalist and songwriter Ricky Ross is looking forward to celebrating with Deacon Blue’s loyal fans. They’ll be roaring the Caledonian gospel from the South Coast to the Uplands.
