Gary Valenciano

Singer, songwriter, and performer Gary Valenciano has been wowing Filipino audiences since the 1980s. Now, he’s heading to The Opera House in Wellington for an unforgettable tour. His ability to blend pop, soul, and inspirational themes continues to resonate with fans across generations. The multi-award-winning singer is affectionately known as ‘Gary V’, or ‘Mr Pure Energy’ by his fans. The second nickname is derived from his famously electric stage presence. This has made him an icon in the Philippines. He has also performed alongside Ricky Martin, Cliff Richard, Brian McKnight, and Kool & the Gang. 

Gary has been a UNICEF National Ambassador for 25 years. He focuses his philanthropy on hope, faith, and positive change in the community.
