American rock band Highly Suspect are known rule breakers. Mixing gritty guitars, haunting piano, off-kilter synths, and hip-hop production style. Their New Zealand shows sold out within minutes. But don’t worry, a venue upgrade means more tickets are available for their Wellington show.

Highly Suspect consists of brothers Rich Meyer (bass) and Ryan Meyer (drums), and guitarist and vocalist Johnny Stevens. The band got their start in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, playing covers of Sublime, Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd. They then honed their raw and powerful sound, and Steven’s beautifully possessed vocals, over years of touring and releases.

Highly Suspect’s mainstream break came in 2015, with their full-length debut ‘Mister Asylum’. The album earned them two nominations at the 2016 Grammy Awards, for Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song, for ‘Lydia’.

Tickets to Highly Suspect’s New Zealand shows sold out minutes after the announcement. New shows were added, and the Wellington venue upgraded to the TSB Arena, allowing for more fans.

Highly Suspect will perform crowd favourites from across their discography, and cuts from their 2022 album ‘The Midnight Demon Club’. Don’t miss out on tickets a second time.
