Life Sciences Summit: True science, real change

Aotearoa’s life sciences and biotechnology community are coming together for a major conference in 2024.  The second annual Life Sciences Summit brings together New Zealand’s agricultural, environmental, industrial, and human and animal health sectors. Welcoming this breadth of expertise under one roof will showcase the scale of this high-impact sector.
 
The summit, based at Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre, will provide a platform to present the latest research. It’s also an opportunity to collaboratively develop solutions to some of the challenges that New Zealand companies face when competing on the global stage. Talks will cover everything from gene editing to drug development, the role of AI in biotech, and commercialising research. The organisers, BioTechNZ have a vision to unite the life science community. The hope is to encourage them to use biotech solutions to solve the world’s biggest challenges.
