The War on Drugs is set to perform in New Zealand for the first time since 2018, as part of their world tour. The band will be joined by special guests Spoon and Indigo Sparke for day two of Wellington’s newest music series, On a Good Day.
The Grammy-award-winning indie rock band are best known for their songs ‘Red Eyes’ and ‘Under The Pressure’.
The band’s fifth studio album, ‘I Don’t Live Here Anymore’, was released in 2021 and received critical acclaim, featuring guest appearances from Lucius, Sharon Van Etten, and Lindsey Buckingham.
Spread over multiple days and featuring a huge lineup of local and international acts, On A Good Day is Wellington’s newest music series. Set in the surrounds of the beautiful Wellington Botanic Garden, it’s the perfect way to kick off summer.
