For the first time since 2018, Queens of the Stone Age will hit New Zealand shores. Formed in 1996, the American rock band regularly sells out arenas with their mix of riff-oriented rhythmic hard rock. Hailed by NME as “a band reaching the peak of their powers” they’re bringing ‘The End Is Nero’ tour to TSB Arena in March 2024.

The band, led by vocalist Josh Homme is inviting everyone to “come celebrate the end of the world, which we hear is ‘in a month or two’.” They would like to encourage the obscene and the clean, the outcasts and the weirdos, and anyone and everyone in between to attend — this is where you belong. Leave your judgment at the door, bring anything and everything else. ‘The End is Nero’ tour is in support of Queens of the Stone Age’s acclaimed eighth studio album, ‘In Times New Roman’. It’s been described as “their darkest, knottiest material to date”.
